SEI Donates $2,500 to Support Oldsmar Cares' Weekend Food For Kids Campaign

SEI is proud to continue its long-standing partnership with Oldsmar Cares by donating $2,500 to support their critical Weekend Food For Kids campaign!
As a longtime partner of Oldsmar Cares, SEI has seen firsthand the profound impact this organization has on our immediate neighbors. Founded in 1997, Oldsmar Cares is a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to serving local families in need by providing free food, clothing, and stop-gap financial assistance. Because the organization is operated entirely by volunteers, 100% of donations go directly to those who need it most.

With the new school year now kicking off, this donation couldn't come at a better time. For many local children, free or reduced-price school meals are their primary source of nutrition during the week. When Friday afternoon arrives, many of these students face food insecurity until school resumes on Monday morning.

The Weekend Food For Kids initiative bridges this gap by sending school-age children home every Friday with kid-friendly, nutritious food packs. Our $2,500 donation arrives just as students head back to the classroom, helping stock these weekend packages so local kids can focus on learning, growing, and thriving all year long.
