Marine Mat Team Rallies with Employees Across Pickren Enterprises to Support Venezuela Earthquake Relief

​Marine Mat has donated $3,260 to support the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) following the devastating double-earthquake sequence that struck north-central Venezuela on June 24, 2026.

The back-to-back 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude earthquakes caused severe damage to buildings, roads, and homes near major cities like Caracas and La Guaira. The disaster has tragically claimed over 3,500 lives and injured more than 16,000 people. With hospitals and water systems heavily impacted, thousands of displaced families are currently in need of medical care, clean water, and temporary shelter.

This cause hits incredibly close to home for the Marine Mat family and other Pickren Enterprise companies, as several of our team members are from Venezuela and have family and loved ones directly living in the affected areas. To help provide relief, Pickren Community Outreach launched an internal employee 2:1 donation matching drive. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our staff across the family of companies, we were able to donate a combined total of $4,890 to Venezuela relief efforts.

The funds will go directly to the Red Cross to help provide emergency healthcare, deploy mobile clinics, distribute hygiene and shelter kits, and set up water purification systems for families in need.
